The Portraits of Motherhood Project
This project is a tribute to the many layers of motherhood. So often, the work of women—especially mothers—goes unseen, quiet, and unrecognized. I long to create a space where those stories are not only heard, but deeply felt.
Through your words and my photographs, we’ll weave a powerful tapestry of motherhood—honoring its beauty, complexity, challenges, and endless possibilities.

FILM IS NOT DEAD Vol.01
Hi, I’m Michelle —
A family film photographer who believes that women deserve to be photographed—and truly seen.
I’m passionate about body image resilience, the tactile beauty of film photography, and exploring my own journey through motherhood with self-portraiture. I know how often the work of motherhood feels quiet, lonely, and invisible. Through my lens, I want you to feel seen in yours.
Right now, I’m pouring my heart into The Portraits of Motherhood Project—a deeply personal body of work that continues to inspire and fulfill me.
I photograph exclusively on 35mm and 120mm film. The analog process grounds me in presence, reminding me that growth and connection will always matter more than perfection.
