I’m an award-winning & gallery-featured film photographer

My work explores the contradictions and nuanced experiences of motherhood through film photography.

The Portraits of Motherhood Project is a deeply personal body of work that continues to inspire and fulfill me.

One of my images from this body of work was featured in The Find Lab Community Photo Exhibition in 2025 and won the People’s Choice award through public voting.

At the beginning of 2026, I received a “Film Is Not Dead” Scholarship from The Find Lab. My portfolio went through open submissions, finalist selection, and then community voting before being selected as the second-place winner.

My photographs have also been featured in The Compass Gallery and Salt Lake Art Show.

My artistic approach

I choose to work with film because it merges precision with artistry in a way that feels both technical and deeply human. The process demands patience and intention, and in return, it produces remarkable color, texture, and emotional depth. Film allows each image to carry a tangible sense of time and presence — something that feels lived rather than captured.

I have invested in professional-grade film cameras and developed a close working relationship with a trusted film lab to ensure every photograph receives the highest level of care and craftsmanship. Each image passes through hands that value the artistry of the process, resulting in work that reflects both technical excellence and a sense of human connection.
